At Ira's (former post master's farm- believe 2nd main road from L) go L and cross the concrete ford and go up the hill (U shaped) - 75% up hill the cemetery was on the R Initially when the land was purchased in 1968 there were 11 head stones memorializing the year and the date they died. All died after a battle in the region and were buried on a hill overlooking the Piney Creek in Limestone (S of Deer which is S of Jasper, AR). By the time I got down there all but 3 headstones had been stolen, fortunately the 3 remaining had been knocked over and leaves hid them from sight. There was a dirt road that went past the cemetery. The road was used by people crossing my land to access the pine as it wrapped around my land. I back up to the Ozark Nation Park Land so it was isolated and easy for someone to steal the headstones. I can't find the battle nor was it listed on the cemetery list. The cemetery had a stone wall built around it and it was not a family plot - no family appeared and the names when they were 1st written down after the land was purchased showed no identical names. Locals said there had been a violet skirmish there and that there were a lot of wounded on both sides.
