AMBROSE KILGORE OF JASPER DIES
     Ambrose Kilgore, 94, of Jasper died August 16 at the Harrison Nursing
Home.  He was born May 1, 1873 at Low Gap, a son of Ruben and nancy
Jane Roseberry Kilgore.  He was a retired firmer and a lifelong resident of
this county.
     Survivors include six sons, Oscar; Ford; Raymond of Jasper; Adrin
Kilgore of Pryor, Okla.; Warren and John Kilgore of Kansas City; four
daughters: Mrs. Lela Brasel of Mulberry, Mrs. Virgie Henderson of Jasper,
Mrs. Fredia Young of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Blanche Bateman of Stanley, Kan.; 
29 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
     The funeral and burial occured at Mt. Sherman.
