Schulz, of Western Grove, died Saturday Dec. 12 (2009) at the age of 92. The son of William and Catherine (Swans) Schulz, was born on Nov. 27, 1917, at Lake Geneva, Wis. He was member of the First Lutheran Church. He was also a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He loved his family, church, and country. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Schulz, his parents, one sister and six brothers. He is survived by one son and spouse, Joseph and Jan Pavelsek of Western Grove; one daughter and spouse, Janet and Larry Luscinski of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one brother, Shorty Schulz of Elkhorn, Wis.; one sister, Evelyn Katzman of Elkhorn, Wis.; and grandchildren, Amy, Jill, James and Joey Luscinski, and Ivan Pavelsek. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, at the First Lutheran Church in Harrison. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Geneva, Wis. Pastor Michael Ada and Pastor Frank Zirbel will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Behrle, Carroll Myers, Shawn Taylor, Bill Buhn, Joey Luscinski and Colton Pavelsek. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Luscinski and Juan Pavelsek. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church in Harrison. Arrangements by Holt Memorial Chapel.
