This old cemetery is located on the west line of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 34, Township 11 South, Range 18 West. It is a short distance east of an old road that leaves Rd. 23 to the right about five miles from Chidester. There are large cedar trees here. Many of the graves are surrounded by rock walls. Bragg, Eber – b. 10-7-1806---d. 9-9-1898; age 81 yrs., 11 mths. 2 days; double marker with Mary Bragg; graves surrounded by rock wall about two feet high Bragg, Mary – b. 10-30-1834---d. 4-20-1901; age 66 yrs., 5 mths., 20 days; double marker with Eber Bragg; grave surrounded by rock wall about two feet high Bratton, Leondus N. – b. 7-6-1877---d. 3-27-1889; age 11 yrs., 8 mths., 21 days; grave surrounded by a divided rock wall Bird, Edwin – died 5-6-1899; son of D. F. and P. M. Bird; age 29 yrs., 2 mths., 10 days; Spanish-American War of 1898-Co. D (?)-1 Tenn. Reg. Vol. Inf.; marker is about five feet high near large cedar trees Coker, Lemuel C. – b. 10-6-1880---d. 8-30-1959 Coker, Minnie Myrtle – b. 1883---d. 1960; Proctor Funeral Home marker Dunn, Infant – died 4-1-1934; marker is about one foot high with a metal stake; Proctor’s Funeral Home (Unknown) – A metal funeral home marker with no name (Unknown) – Three graves in a row, each surrounded by rock walls; no markers (Unknown) – Several native stone markers with no names
