Hickman This obit was generously provided by Paul DeMars Found another one in my files for an aunt to my grandfather. Her name was Leola Ann Madeline Whitten Adams Hickman. This was sent to me by her granddaughter without a date or newspaper listed, but she died in Two Bayou, Ouachita County, Arkansas. Camden Arkansas Died: Mrs. C. B. Hickman, age 60, one of Two Bayou's oldest and most respected citizens died Sunday, September 25, at 6 a.m. Mrs. Hickman has been in bad health for quite a while, having cancer, and for the past four weeks the end was expected hourly. She seemed to realize that the end of her lifes journey had been reached and told the family that she was ready and willing to go. Mrs. Hickman became a member of the M. E. Church in early life and remained so until death. The funeral was held at Two Bayou church at 12 a.m. (sic) by Bro. Bragg Adams, by request of the deceased, who had charge of the funeral. Besides her husband, Mrs. Hickman leaves five sons: Luther, Irvin, Arthur, Cuthbert, and Hubert Adams and three step-children: Will Hickman, Mrs. Arthur Adams, and Mrs. Lillie Romack and a number of grandchildren. A large crowd of sympathizing friends and neighbors attended the burial, bringing with them many floral offerings the entire grave being covered with flowers. The bereaved husband and children have the deep sympathy of their many friends. Those who attended from distances were Hubert Adams of Good Pine, LA, Mr. And Mrs. Will Hickman of McNeil, Mrs. John Carter and Ed Hickman of Union
