WEDER ARMSTRONG Funeral service for Mrs. Weder Carlen Armstrong of West Helena was conducted Monday afternoon at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Rudy Davis officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park. Mrs. Armstrong, 84, died Friday, January 9, 1998, at Helena Regional Medical Center, She was a retired Sterlings' Store employee, a native of Sumlar, Mississippi, and a member of the Second Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, James Benford Armstrong of Lexa; a sister, Mrs. Mary Seales of Vicksburg, Mississippi; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were James B. Armstrong, Jr., Ronnie Layton, Eddie Phillips, Jerry Haggins, Robert Haggins, and Scottie Haggins. SAM FRANCIS BROCATO Funeral service for Sam Francis Brocato of Helena was conducted Tuesday afternoon at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Ed Graves officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery under direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Mr. Brocato, 72, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998, at Helena Regional Medical center. He was self-employed, a lifelong resident of Helena; a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jeannine Brocato of Helena; a son, Francis Brocato of Providence, Rhode Island; a daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Sander of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two brothers, Dominic Brocato of Helena and Joseph Brocato of Memphis; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Nick P. Brocato, Jr., Vincent Brocato, Michael Brocato, Chris Brocato, Phillips Brocato, and Corky King. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be amde to the St. Mary's Catholic Church. MRS. BARBARA INGRAM Funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Lee Roberts Ingram of Elaine was conducted Saturday at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. BIll Horn officiated. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.Mrs. Ingram, 37, died Thursday, January 8, 1998, as the result of an automobile accident near Marianna. She was a waitress. Survivors include her father, Freeland C. Roberts of Elaine; her mother, Alice J. Roberts of Elaine; a daughter, Stormy Dawn Roberts of Elaine; two brothers, Freeland C. Roberts, Jr., and Jerry Roberts, both of Elaine; six sisters, Billy Hillenburgy of Sicamore, Illinois, Carol Dortmann of ASh Flat, Jannette Harris of Aubrey, and Martha Jane DeWild, LaWanda Kay Roberts and Sheila Dee Dunlap, all of Elaine. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Robersts and Jimmy Dan Roberts. Pallbearers were Larry Snowden, Lonnie Snowden,Richard Roberts, Greg Roberts, Johnny Mayville and Terry Dunlap.
