Will as follows: LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF MALACHI SANDERLIN State of Arkansas Philips County In the name of God, Amen, M. Sanderlin of the County of Phillips and Sate aforesaid do this the eighth day of May Eighteen Hundred and fifty-two, this my Last Will and Testament in manner as follows: that is to say as fowlars. 1st Item I give unto my beloved wife the land that I bought of Charles Wright containing forty acres and also the rest of my property which consists of hogs and cattle, and one half of one waggon and all of my kitchen and household furniture and all of my notes due me for to sport hur and after her death to be equile divided between Robert Sanderlin and Joseph Sanderlin and my wish is that my beloved wife should do as she wishes with the property as she please. 2nd item I give unto my grandaughter, Elizabeth Sanderlin the said land that I leave to my wife after hur death and one bed furniture, one bedstead, the Teaster bedstead is a walnut one. 3rd item I give unto my son Joseph Sanderlin eighty ackers of land that he is now living on that I swapped with Robert Sanderlin. 4th item I give my daughter Sarah Simone hur share of my property one track of land I bought of _______ (looks like JB Asbell) also eighty ackers of prarie lands which is her equal shares with the rest of my children. Howerton State of Arkansas Count of Phillips Be it Remembered that on this 27th Day of April AD 1855, the Last Will and Testament of Malachi Sanderlin was presented for Probate and thereupon come and appeared in open court Leonard D. Prather, William Dozier and William McGrew who being first duly sworn say on oath that the above and foregoing Will was written by Malachi Sanderlin and in his own hand writing and that his signature thereto is genuine and we do further swear that at the time of writing and signing said will that said Sanderlin was in good health and of sound and disposing mind which said will bears date May the 8th A.D. 1852.
