Standridge Family Cemetery *********************************************************** Submitted by: Lina Boyd Date: 3 Jan 2009 Copyright. All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** From the junction of Highways 7 and 27 in Dover, go north on Highway 7 for 17.7 miles. Turn left on Page Hollow road and go for 3.7 miles. Turn right and go about 1700 yards. You will cross Moccasin Creek not long after turning of on this road. Cemetery is on the left. Do not try to drive across Moccasin Creek in a car. Most of the time I go on my 4-wheeler. C. L. Boyd Infant Keys No Marker Samuel Owen Standridge 16 Jan 1829 - 1905 He was born in Illinois He died on his homeplace on Moccasin Creek, Pope Co. AR. Son of Martin Standridge Sr. and Katherine Unknown husband of Carolyn Unknown (possibly Dempsey, no proof) married about 1845 in Carroll County, Arkansas (no record available, burned) Note: His tombstone has his name as Martin Owen, which is wrong and dates are 1820 - 1905. He was not in the 1900 census, so death may have been earlier than this. These stones were made by my grandmother and her brothers many years after their deaths.
