Jacquelyn "Jacqie" Ruth Bonds, 70, a resident of Russellville, died on January 6, 2022, at Legacy Heights Nursing &
Rehab in Russellville, AR. She was born on July 21, 1951 in Russellville, AR to Jack and Sydna Smith.

Jacqie was a 1968 graduate of Dover High School. On June 2, 1969 she married Jim Bonds. They had one son, Dr. J. Dustin
Bonds. She earned a bachelor's degree and master's degree from Arkansas Tech University. She taught English, Gifted and
Talented classes and was a Media Specialist at the Russellville Junior High for forty years. Jacqie enjoyed reading,
studying genealogy, and spending time with her grandson, Grayson.

Jacqie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, step-father Arvil Barton, and nephew, Scott Bonds.

Jacqie is survived by her son, Dr. J. Dustin Bonds (Angela), and grandson, Grayson. In addition, Jacqie is survived by
sister Debbie Darr (David) and brother Bob Ed Smith (Tanya), brothers-in-law Pat Bonds (Nancy), Joe Bonds (Barbara),
sisters-in-laws Gina Lou Bonds Bryson, Sue Bonds, Kay Bonds, and several nieces and nephews.

A private committal service will be held at the new Chapel of Light at the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center
by  Humphrey Funeral Service. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Funeral
home.
