Cleveland, was buried at Atkins City Cemetery in Pope Co. He and his wife came from Georgia to Arkansas in 1858. At the breaking out of the Civil War he became a soldier in the confederate army and served under Gen. John B. Gordon. He has lived in or near Atkins ever since the war closed. Before coming to Arkansas he was married to Miss Eliza Ann Martin, the two have lived together to a ripe old age. She and four children survive him. The living children of B. F. Cleveland are M. F. Cleveland of Atkins, W. F. Cleveland of Little Rock, and Mrs. Dolan Burris and Mrs. J. E. Leftwich of Van Buren. He has a brother living in Texas and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren live in Atkins. He died at his home near Old Hickory Sunday morning, April 18, 1915 and was buried Monday at the Atkins Cemetery at Atkins. R_________ducting a s____ service.
