          Services held at Lonoke Monday for Earl S GIBBINS
Earl Stanford GIBBINS 73 of Des Arc, died of a heart attack Friday, Oct 14.
 Mr GIBBINS was being taken to thr Bethell Clinic for treatment & past away
in a car outside the clinic.
          He was a native of Van Buren Co & lived in Lonoke Co until he moved
to the Cross Roads Community in Prairie Co about 1947 & later into Des Arc.
 He was a WW1 Veteran & a member of the Church of Christ.
          In addition to his widow , Mrs Versie LINN GIBBINS of Des Arc, he
is survived by seven daughters, Mrs Jessie Cox of Lonoke; Mrs Ernestine
Whittenberg of Carlisle; Mrs Sarah Hawthorne of Roswell, NM; Mrs Thelma
Folkner of Bakersfield, CA; Mrs Maxine Folkner of Kernville, CA; Mrs Betty
Whittenberg of Carlisle, & Miss Carolyn Gibbins of the home; four sons;Earls
S, Jr of Lonoke, Hulen Ray of NLR, Staff Sgt. Joe Edward  in the Air Force,
Philippines & Vancie Lee Gibbins of Buttonwillow, CA & two brothers, Harp
Gibbins of Hornersville, MO & GeGibbins of Pine Bluff; three sisters, Mrs
Mary Healy of Pine Bluff, Mrs Nettie Davis of Bee Branch & Mrs Bethel Donahue
of CA; 30 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.
          Funeral services were held Monday at 2:00 pm in the Lonoke Church
of Christ by Roy Henderson, minister.
          Burial was in the Lonoke Cemetery by Caskey Funeral Services of Des
Arc.
          Pallbearers were J B Gibbins, D B Davis, J C Davis, Earl Donahue &
G L Gibbins.
          Honorary bearers were Cecil, Ethel, Arvil, Arlie, Billy & Jimmy
Gibbins.
