Colquitt, John-Atlanta Constitution, Sep.25,1903-Death of Colonel John Colquitt-
Little Rock, Sep.24-Col. John W.Colquitt, the former Commissioner of state
lands, died tonight at his home in this city. He was 63 years of age. He was a
veteran of the Confederate Army, having been Colonel of the First Arkansas
Infantry. Buried Oakland Cemetery, Little Rock. Born Oct.28,1840 in Muscogee Co.
Ga. Died Sept.24,1903
