Obituary: Major James Junius Johnson, Anniston, Ala. - Sep. 30, 1898 - Major James
Junius Johnson, commander of the Second Battalion, Second Ark, who has been ill
for a week with typhoid fever, died last night of heart failure. Major Johnson
was a prominent businessman of Little Rock, Ark. The remains will be carried
there tomorrow for interment, accompanied by an escort of honor, under command
of Captain Pearson, Co. E.
