Kavanaugh, William Marmaduke - New York Times, Feb. 22, 1915 - Little Rock,
Ark., Feb. 21 - Judge William Marmaduke Kavanaugh, ex - U. S. Senator from
Arkansas, who replaced the vacancy caused by death of Jeff Davis, serving until
March 1913, President of the Southern Assoc. of Baseball Clubs, the Little Rock
Railway and Electric Company, and the Southern Trust Company of this city, died
at his home here late today after an hour’s illness. Acute indigestion was the
cause of death, physicians said. Judge Kavanaugh, who was 50 years of age, was a
native of Kentucky.
