McCulloch, 71, Trade Expert Dies - Federal Commissioner - St. Louis, Jan. 23 - Edward A. McCulloch of Little Rock, Ark., a member of the Federal Trade Commission and former Chief Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court, died here today in Barnes Hospital, where he had undergone an operation for ulcers of the somach. He had been a patient for a month. His body was found by a nurse. Dr. Hugh McCulloch, a son, who is a member of the hospital staff, said death appeared to be from thrombosis. He was 71 years of age. Three other sons, Edgar H. McCulloch, an attorney in this city; Richard Burrus McCulloch, and attorney of Marianna, Ark., and Ben McCulloch of San Francisco survive.
