Will Hammond "Bill" Satterfield He was 62 died Friday, 9/1/2000. Born in Little Rock. Graduated from Little Rock Central High School Attended The University of arkansas at Fayettville. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He attended the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, studied Industrial design & Illustration. He was an accomplished & Prolific Artist. And Master of Watercolor. He Lived & Painted in Hawaii, Tennessee, Arkansas & Sweden. Taught Art at the Swedish University of Upsala. He also taught watercolor & design at Memphis State University and Water Color at the Arkansas Art Center. His Works are primarily landscapes and nautical studies, Which reflected his love of Rural Arkansas & Nature. He also loved fishing and Sailing as His Paintings reflected. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, California. Survivors are: Mother, Ina McCarty Satterfield, 2 Brothers; Brinton Satterfield, and Marshall Satterfield. Wife; Louise; 1 sister Molly Satterfield; 2 neices April Satterfield & Katy Landburg & Husband Karl of Conway. A nephew; Jake Limberg of Sausalito, California. Graveside Service at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Ruebel Funeral Home. This was a good friend of mine. I used to fish at Cooks Landing in North Little Rock. He always had a Smile on His Face. I didn't know He was an Artist until after He died. Our Friends "nicknamed" Him Volkswagon Bill because he drove a Blue Volkswagon. Mary A.
