Ballard's Co., of Vol. Inf., raised in Randolph county, Ark., in response to the call of Col. Borland of Nov. 5; mustered into the service of the Confederate States Nov. 11 for 30 days, and discharged Dec. 17, 1861; entitled to pay from date of muster to the time set opposite their respective names; but entitled to no transportation or subsistence from place of muster to place of discharge; because they were mustered in and out of service at the same place, to- wit: Pitman's Ferry, Randolph county, Ark.
