Marriage License.     State of Arkansas, County of Randolph
To any Persons Authorized by Law to Solemnize Marriage Greetings:
     You are herby commanded to solemnize the Rites and publish the Bans of 
Matrimony between Mr. A.P. Johnson of Columbia Twp in the County of Randolph 
and State of Arkansas aged 25 years, and Mrs. Samantha V. Pervis of Columbia 
Twp in the County of Randolph and State of Arkansas aged 20 years, according 
to law, and do you officially sign and return this License to the parties 
herein names.
     Witness my hand and official seal, this 4th day of June AD 1889

Certificate of Marriage     State of Arkansas, County of Randolph
I, A.J. McNabb do herby certify that on the 6th day of June A.D. 1889, I did 
duly and according to law, as commanded in the foregoing License, solemnize 
the Rites and publish the Bans of Matrimony between the parties therein named.
     Witness my hand this 6th day of June A.D., 1889

     I, W.T. Bisham Clerk of the Circuit Court and Ex-Officio Clerk of the 
County Court and Recorder of said County, certify that the above license for 
and Certificate of Marriage of A.P. Johnson and Samantha V. Pervis were, on 
the 6th day of July 1889, filed in my office; the same are now duly recorded 
on Page 201 of Book 8 of Marriage Records.
     WITNESS my hand and the seal of said County, this 9 day of July 1889
