All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Anna Lou Waller Bowser, 95, of Little Rock died Thursday, July 27, 2006. She was born Feb. 24, 1911, in Little Rock to Mattie Dee Harrison and John Leander Waller. Mrs. Bowser had many skills. In the 1950s she drove the bookmobile for the Pulaski County Library; she was a Cub Scout leader, and spent many years as a Sunday school teacher. She retired from the Arkansas Health Department in 1976. That year, she enrolled in the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and graduated with honors at the age of 70. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Bowser; her parents; one brother, John Waller; and one sister, Mattie Lee Waller Thomas. Survivors include two sons, Lee Bowser and wife Vicky of the Avilla community and John Bowser of Little Rock; and many nieces and nephews. No formal services are scheduled, at Mrs. Bowser's request. A gathering of friends and family will be scheduled at a later date. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
