Brook, 87, of Little Rock, died April 22, 2002. Born on Oct. 31, 1914, in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of William W. and Bernice Brook. He graduated from high school in Alabama and also from the Chillicothe Business College in Missouri. Bill was a member of Mabelvale United Methodist Church. He was a retired senior engineering technician with the U.S. Corps of Engineers, an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and also enjoyed stamp collecting and leatherwork. His greatest enjoyment in life was being married to his wife of 54 years, Mary Louise Brook, and watching his children play sports. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and is survived by his daughter, Susan Brook Eddy and her husband, Bruce, of Little Rock; his daughter, Terrie Brook Wilkerson and her husband, Kenny, of Little Rock; his son, W. Scott Brook, of Little Rock and four grandchildren, Brooke Wilkerson, Blake Wilkerson, Drew Wilkerson and Alexa Eddy, all of Little Rock. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2002, at 10 a.m. at Mabelvale United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Brizzi officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at Griffin Leggett-Forest Hills, 10200 Hwy. 5, Alexander, Ark. 72202. Pallbearers will be Bruce Eddy, Kenny Wilkerson, Blake Wilkerson, Drew Wilkerson, Chris Dunkum, Jan Dannaway, Steve Dannaway and Eddie Smith. Memorials may be made to Mabelvale United Methodist Church, 10500 Woodman St., Mabelvale, Ark. 72103. The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to their father's caregivers, Nikki Hayes and Anita Daniels, the HomeCare Professionals and the Visiting Nurses Association for the care and kindness shown their father during the last several years of his life.
