She was born Oct. 15, 1928, in Anderson, Mo., to George M. and Fannie Nellie Collins Baldwin. She owned and operated D&E Market in Goodman for several years. She retired from Lazy-Boy in Neosho, Mo., in 1991. She was a member of the American Legion post in Goodman and was active in the American Cancer Society. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Ross David. Survivors include a son, Gary Lee Thrasher of Neosho; three daughters, Janice Kay "J.J." Leek and husband Russell of Ozark, Mo., Elaine Sue Brookman and husband Bill of Pawnee, Ill., and Carol Frances David and husband Phillip of Hollister, Mo.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ozark Funeral Home in Goodman with Frank Crosby officiating. Burial will follow in McNatt Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at ozarkfuneralhome.com.
