Wayne N. Caldwell

Wayne N. Caldwell, 83, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006, at Stoney Brook Nursing
Center.

He was born Sept. 7, 1923, in Liberty, Miss., to Bonnie Hillard and Ella Lovins
Caldwell.

Mr. Caldwell was an automotive salesman, World War II veteran and a member of
Calvary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 62 years, Eula Caldwell;
and one son-in-law, Marty Svoboda.

Survivors include two daughters; Waynette Pecaut and husband Jon of Wentworth,
S.D., and Galisa Svoboda of Benton; two grandchildren, Brandon Wayne Caldwell
and Brittany Vandegrift; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Roberts of New Albany,
Miss.; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home, with
the Rev. Oscar Golden officiating.

Burial with military honors will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park at Alexander.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Caldwell, Eric Bulk, Anthony Parker, Ken Jordan, Roy
Lee Wright, and Jon Pecaut.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
