Mary Lou Virginia Chism, 73, of Benton died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at Saline
Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 18, 1932, in Nettleton, Miss.

Mrs. Chism had lived in Benton since 1954, moving here from Cross County. She
worked as a cook for 23 years at Saline Memorial Hospital. She was a member of
the Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Jane Chism.

Survivors include her husband, Junius David Chism; two daughters, Donna Kathleen
Castiglia and Elizabeth Joan Goodwin, both of Benton; three grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren.

Graveside service was Monday at Cogbill Cemetery, with the Rev. Ray D. Davis
officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Kernodle Funeral Home of
Wynne.
