Vito Cifaldi, 86, of Benton died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006.

Mr. Cifaldi was a member of Benton First Assembly of God and was a
Golden Gloves boxer in his early years.

He retired from U.S. Steelworkers after 46 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Christine Cifaldi; seven
children and their spouses,, John and Jeanne Cifaldi of Valparaiso, Ind.,
Vito Cifaldi Jr. and Janice of Marietta, Ga., Shirley and David Frazier of
Phoenix, Ariz., Lisa and Robert Dillingham of Lincoln, Alaska, and
Thomas and Sandy Cifaldi, Steven Cifaldi and Linda and Kenneth Robinson,
all of Benton; two sisters, Mary Pavloff of Crown Point, Ind., and
Frances Ferriera of Valparaiso, Ind.; 19 grandchildren and 25
great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Griffin Leggtt-Forest
Hills Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gene Huskey officiating. Burial will be
in Forest Hills Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
