Neal ‘Whimp' Cook Sr.

Neal “Whimp” Cook Sr., 74, of Mabelvale died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006.

He was born April 9, 1932, in Keo.

Mr. Cook was a member of Vimy Ridge Immanuel Baptist Church for more than 40
years and Iron Worker Local 321 and was a 32nd-degree Mason.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Doris Cook; four children, Neal Cook
Jr., Larry Cook, Kellie Embree and husband Rod and Stormy Dawn Cook; three
brothers, Calvin Cook, Oral J Cook and Burl Cook; one sister, Opal Butler; and
three grandchildren.

Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Vimy Ridge Immanuel Church.

Visitation will take place at the church from noon unil service time. Burial
will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett-Forest Hills.
