CRAIG, LYLE H., of Deland, went to be with the Lord the evening of March 15,
2006. He died peacefully at his home, surrounded by family. There will be a
visitation on Sunday from 5-8PM. Service will be Monday at 11AM at Stetson
Baptist Church. Mr. Craig was born on November 27, 1937 in Batesville, AR. He
graduated from The University of Kansas with a degree in engineering then later
attended Harvard University. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading,
computers, and was an avid golfer. He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph
and was survived by his mother, Florence, of Benton, AR; his wife of 43 years,
Karen; daughter, Sheri and husband Charles; daughter, Donna and husband Michael;
son, Scott and wife Jennifer; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Jamie, Jessica, Ian,
Julie, Connor and Landon; brother, Phillip and wife Annette of Little Rock, AR;
brother, Scott and wife Gail of Benton, AR; sister, Barbara Jo and husband
Charles of Benton, AR; sister, Judy and husband James of Benton, AR; sister,
Beth and husband Roy of Benton, AR; as well as many other close friends and
family. He was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Lankford Funeral Home
is in charge.
