Cecil Ray Cruse, 69, of Hot Springs died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at
Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born Dec. 20, 1936, to Doyle
and Clemmie Irene Henderson Cruse in Calhoun County.

Mr. Cruse was a welder and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Felton Cruse; and
one sister, Lucille McMahan.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Tillman Cruse of the home; five sons,
Danny Joe Cruse and wife Cora Jane of Sparkman, Michael Ray Cruse of
Owensboro, Ky., Otis Doyle Cruse of Owensboro, Ky., Richard Edward Cruse
and wife Sharon of Hawesville, Ky. and Roger Dale Cruse and wife Laura
of Owensboro, Ky.; one daughter, Pat Vergason and husband Randy of
Bauxite; four stepdaughters, Myra Wilson of Benton, Lynn Tiley of East End,
Nicole Singleton and Teresa Darby of Alexander; one sister, Melba
Robertson; one brother, Ed Cruse both of Malvern; 20 grandchildren; nine
great- grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and five
stepgreat-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Social Hill Cemetery,
with the Rev. Carroll Brown officiating.

Pallbearers are John Wilson, Sean Vergason, Chad Vergason, Joe Cruse,
Nathan Vales and Duane Tiley.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Roller-Ballard Funeral
Home in Benton.
