All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Hulon Curtis, 80, of Malvern died Wednesday, July 5, 2006. He was born Oct. 24, 1925, in Saline County. Mr. Curtis was a member of the First Baptist Church of Social Hill, where he participated in the Men's Prayer Breakfast Fellowship. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and served in World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Letha Curtis; his wife, Doris Rogers Curtis; one brother, Lindy Curtis; and one sister, Mae Coker. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Curtis; one brother, James Curtis and wife Jessie; one sister, Nina Blaylock and husband Bill; one stepson, Paul Jett and his son Douglas Jett; one stepdaughter, Cathie Orlando and husband Tony and their children, Amanda and Joey Orland; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home in Hot Springs, with the Revs. Jerry George and Carroll Koon officiating. Pallbearers are Richard Sample, Bobby Goodnight, Bill Gentry, Ray Bailey, Wes Lawson and Johnny Harmon. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
