Ruby Gilliam Dickens, 83, of Hot Springs Village died Monday July 10, 2006.

He was born Jan. 7, 1923, in Mayflower to John and Margie Gilliam Dickens.

Mr. Dickens was a retired orthopedic technician and longtime member of Pulaski
Heights United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Roy Elmore.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sally York Dickens; two sons, Doug
Elmore of Hot Springs Village and Larry Elmore of Greenbrier; one niece,
Cathrine Phelps; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of
other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Magnet Cove Cemetery in Magnet
Cove. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home.
