Florence Dickerson

Florence Dickerson, 89, of Benton died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006.

A graveside service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in
Rison.

Open visitation will take place tonight at Ashby Funeral Home in Benton.



Florence Rose Lee ‘Curly' Crabtrey Patterson Dickerson

Florence Rose Lee “Curly” Crabtrey Patterson Dickerson, 89, of Benton died
Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006.  Mrs. Dickerson was born May 8, 1917, in Old
Washington to Benjamin Harvey and Lenora Crabtrey.

Mrs. Dickerson was a retired nurse and a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist
Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Jack Patterson and Dr.
Cecil H. Dickerson Jr.; one son, Edward Patterson; and two daughters, Shirley
Bermingham and Loretta Burrow.

Survivors include one daughter, Janet K. Hickman of Camden; three sons, Tim
Patterson of Arkadelphia, Rick Patterson of Pollock, La., and Jack Patterson of
Redfield; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in Rison.
Tony Burrow will be officiating. Arrangements by Ashby Funeral Home.
