Mary Ella “Med” Evans, 91, of Benton died Monday, July 24, 2006. She was born
Feb. 10, 1915, in Brown Springs the daughter of Mark and Madella Long Davidson.

Mrs. Evans was a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting
and animals. She always had a positive attitude, and was the life of her
family's get-togethers.

She was preceded in death by her husband E.S. “Rip” Evans; her parents; four
brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include her daughter Evelyn Evans of Benton; her special sister-in-law
Bobbie Evans of North Little Rock; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Griffin Leggett Healey and
Roth, 5800 West 12th in Little Rock. The Revs. Bob Stuckey and Joe Campbell will
be officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery in Brown Springs.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
