Joe Fletcher

Joe Fletcher, 78, of Little Rock died Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006. He was a Bald
Knob High School graduate, attended the Naval Academy Preparatory School and
served in the U.S. Navy, worked for the Bald Knob Telephone Co. and P. Lorillard
Co. of New York, and retired from Bristol Laboratories in 1980.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Mabel Fletcher, and brothers
James Monroe and Carrol Dewayne Fletcher.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Grigsby Fletcher; son Mark and wife Laura of
St. Louis, Mo.; daughters Jo Lynne Harr of Cabot, and Gigi Nelson of Benton;
sisters Reva Fletcher of Little Rock, and Ella Mae Rooks and husband Wesley of
Gillett; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 15, at St. James United Methodist
Church. Interment was at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob.

The family requests that memorials be made to St. James United Methodist Church,
321 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, AR 72212.
