Robert J. Fowler of Benton died Monday, June 28, 1999. He was 73. He was born
April 8, 1926.

He was a member of Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church and was employed in
safety service at Reynolds Metals Co., where he retired.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Olen Fowler; one sister, Christine
Hines; and one grandson, Patrick Fowler.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Treba Fowler; one son and daughter-in-
law, Gary and Pam Fowler of Benton; one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and
Douglas Thompson; one brother, Doyle Fowler of Benton; one sister, Maxine Hines
of Benton; one granddaughter, Donna Riffe; and one great-grandson, Tyler Riffe
of Bristol, Texas.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church
with the Rev. Bob Weigel officiating.

Burial will follow at Mt.. Harmony Cemetery.

Visitation is set from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Ashby Funeral Home.
