Arrangements are pending with Roller-Ballard Funeral Home. Lillie Addie Franklin Lillie Addie Franklin, 90, of Benton, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, at Grace Health Care in Benton. She was born Feb. 8, 1916, in Dripping Springs, Texas, to John Connor Harmon and Ella Tinnie Massey. Mrs. Franklin was a member of First Baptist Church, taught school and was a longtime Sunday school teacher. She was a former member of Kappa Kappa Iota Teacher's Society, Alpha Ki, served as president of the Women's Auxiliary and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Elwood Franklin; one son, Leonard D. Franklin; two sisters, Violet Bacon and Ella Mae Grant; and two brothers, Vernon and Foster Harmon. Survivors include three daughters, Jean Foster and husband Jim of Benton, Bettie Luper of Fayetteville, and Gail Hill of Benton; seven grandchildren, Lisa Dunning, Ken Hill, Paul Hill, Shannon Hill, Bryan Luper, Ben Luper, and Blair Wood; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Grant officiating. Interment will follow at New Rosemont Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Ken Hill, Shannon Hill, Bob Luper, Brian Wood, Bryan Luper, Lib Carlisle, Jaime Guerra, and Marvin Gay. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Saline Memorial Hospice or First Baptist Church in Benton.
