All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** William Boyd Freeman, 59, of Sheridan died Friday, July 7, 2006. Born Aug. 1, 1946, he was a son of Edith Elois Lowery Freeman and Hollis Freeman. He was a heavy equipment operator for Horizon Timber Service. He was a member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church at Prattsville and a member and Past Master of Sheridan Masonic Lodge 260. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association and the American Legion and an Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Jones Freeman; his mother; three sons, Brian Freeman and wife Lea Ann of Grapevine and John Freeman and Marc Freeman, both of Sheridan; one daughter, Abby McCool and husband Glen of Prattsville; two brothers, Raymond Freeman and wife Georgianna of Sheridan and Cletis Freeman and wife Sharon of Conway; and five grandchildren, Stephen Freeman, Brittany Freeman, Colten McCool, Wyatt McCool and Nora McCool. Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, with the Revs. Don Goodman and Shawn Hill officiating. Burial with Masonic rites will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation is set from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
