LOUISE DOROTHY GEIGER

Of Carrick, died on Thursday, August 31, 2006. She was born in Carrick on
February 3, 1917. Wife of the late Edwin D. Cordell; daughter of the late
William Lewis and Louise Lecetta Koch Geiger; sister of William J. (Marjory)
Geiger of Sun City, AZ; sister-in-law of the late Stella Geiger; sister-in-law
of the late Herbert William and Dorothy D. Cordell of North Little Rock, AR,
cousin of the late Mildred Maussung Stumph and husband, William Stumph and
Stella Maussung Day. Survived by cousin Leland Day of Bluffton, SC; nieces,
Elaine Day (Bill) Maury of Bluffton, SC, Myrlene Cordell (Bob)Tedford of Benton,
AR, Rosalyn S. Cordell of Baton Rouge, LA, Mary Karen Cordell of Benton, AR;
nephews Leland Paul (Cindy) Day of Pittsburgh and Herbert William (Becca)
Cordell, Jr. of Louisville, CO; numerous great nieces and nephews. Also her late
and constant companion "Tammie". She also leaves behind many loving and faithful
caregivers and friends. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL
HOME INC. 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, Monday from 7-9 pm .
Funeral Services to be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00, Pastor Christian
Dahlberg officiating. Burial will take place at Zion Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, contributions may be made to Stewart Avenue Evangelical Lutheran
Church, 2810 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227, 412-881-0171.
