Mildred Linn Goad, 93, of Benton, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2006, in Cabot.

She was born Oct. 29, 1912, in Quitman to James Asa Linn and Mary Ida
Carter Linn.

Mrs. Goad was a member of the First Baptist Church of Benton and a
homemaker. She lived in Benton for 45 years before moving to Andover Place
in Little Rock.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years,
Denis Goad; an infant daughter; four brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Scott Goad and wife Sharon of Cabot and
Edwin Goad and wife Janice of Houston; seven grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at New Rosemont Cemetery,
with the Rev. Curtis Kyle officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Ashby Funeral
Home.
