Death Of L. W. HACKETT

L. W. Hackett, formerly of Benton, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. A.
Westbrook, near Stonewall, Okla, on Thursday of last week.

The body was brought to Benton Sunday and funeral services were held at Rosemont
cemetery, conducted by the Rev. W. R. McEwen. Two of Mr. Hackett's daughters,
Mrs. J. F. Thompson and Miss Cal Hackett, reside in Benton.

Mr. Hackett was a Union veteran and many years ago was Benton's postmaster.
