James R. Harrison aged 79 years died at the home of his son, Mathew Harrison
Tuesday.

Mr. Harrison was born in Tennessee, where he lived until 1857, when the family
moved to Arkansas.

He is survived by four sons and three daughters.  Funeral services were
conducted at the home of  his son in north Benton at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday June
6, 1923, by Rev. Francis N. Brewer and Rev. W. T. Hamilton of Bryant.  Burial
was in Bryant cemetery.
