Arrangements are pending with Roller-Ballard Funeral Home. Maxine Jane Harvill, 88, of Benton died Friday, July 14, 2006, at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock. She was born September 14, 1917, in Grant County to the late William Harrison Ashcraft and Bertie Tull. She was a homemaker and member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, her husband Kelley Harvill; brothers, the Rev. Charles Ashcraft and Orville Ashcraft; and sister, Ernestine Ashcraft, also preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Harvill Robinson and Judy Brotherton and husband Bill, all of Benton; son, James K. and wife Karen Harvill of Benton; grandchildren, Kelly Harvill and wife Paula, James Harvill II, and Amanda Brotherton; great grandchildren, Jesica and Makenzi Harvill and Kyle Lewis; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2006, in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047), with the Revs. Vance Nutt and Kim Hammer officiating. Interment will follow in New Rosemont Cemetery in Benton. Serving as pallbearers will be Graham Patterson, Curtis Rasburry, Jim Lumpkins, Johnny Davis, Will Bearden and J. T. Harrington. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday afternoon, July 16, 2006, at the funeral home.
