All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Ruston Urban Hoggard, 91, of Bryant died Tuesday, July 11, 2006. He was born January 17, 1915, in Holland to Jesse Hoggard and Lorinda Sanders Hoggard. Mr. Hoggard was a World War II veteran serving in the U. S. Marines and was a retired civilian employee of the U. S. Navy where he worked as a cabinet maker. He was also a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Benton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carmel Hoggard; seven brothers, Earl, Orton, Doyne, Onus, Lorel, Onnie and Amar; and three sisters, Rita, Floy, and Chloe. Survivors include his two sons, Donald L. Hoggard and wife Sharon of Gordonsville, Va., and Randall U. Hoggard and wife Jackie of Twin Falls, Idaho; two grandchildren, Stephanie DeJong and husband Chris of Yucaipa, Calif., and Jessica Koopmans and husband Aaron of Santa Cruz, Calif.; a brother, Russell L. Hoggard and wife Marthell of Jacksonville; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Vance Nutt officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
