All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Myrtis Glyndel Mooney Hollinger, 95, of Prattsville died Sunday, July 23, 2006, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born Jan. 26, 1911, in the Liberty community of Grant County to Arlie E. and Elma Nancy Sheppard Mooney. Mrs. Hollinger was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church at Prattsville and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ural “Buck” Hollinger; three sisters, Lucile Tisdale, Arine Bennings and Jo Buie; and two brothers, the Rev. Sheppard Mooney and George Bryan Mooney. Survivors include her son, Leonard Hollinger and wife Benjia of Little Rock; one sister, Velna Smith of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers, the Rev. Earl Mooney and wife Reba of Tulsa, Okla., and Bobby Ray Mooney and wife Ilah of Camp Verdi, Ariz.; one sister-in-law, Madora Hollinger of Prattsville; special neighbor and caregiver, Marie Fite of Prattsville; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville with the Rev. Don Goodman officiating. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan.
