Ernest Ray Hyatt, 83, of Benton died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006, at Arkansas Health
Care Center in Benton.

He was born Aug. 17, 1923, in Baren Springs, W.Va., to John and Gurtrude Hyatt.

Mr. Hyatt was a retired cook and a veteran of the Marine Corps.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include one daughter, Darlene Hyatt Nicholson of Satellite Beach,
Fla.; and four grandchildren.

His family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Local arrangements are
under the direction of Ashby Funeral Home.
