Willie Jean Jackson, 57, of Mabelvale died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at her home.

She was born Dec. 29, 1949, in Pulaski County.

Mrs. Jackson was a beautician and a factory worker. She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Cook; one sister, Eulean Gilbert;
and one brother, Carl Cook Jr.

Survivors include her special friend, Doyle Hampton of Mabelvale; one daughter,
Brenda Ross of Alexander; one brother, Edward Lee Cook of Mabelvale; her mother,
Willie Mae Cook of Mabelvale; two sisters, Sally Ashley of Sheridan and Mary
Thomas of Portland, Ore.; two grandchildren, Joshua John Jackson and Ashley
Ross, both of Alexander.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home, with the Rev.
David Tindallburial officiating. Burial will be in Upchurch Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Jackson, Clifton Gilbert, Harold Stone, James Grundy,
Adel Mohammed and Ricky Pickett.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The family will be at 6501 Ram Road in Mabelvale.
