Vivian Grace Jones, 86, of Benton died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006. She was
born May 17, 1920, in Linden, Texas, to Tom and Grace Riddle.

Mrs. Jones was a nurse and a member of the First Baptist Church of
Benton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tommie Jones;
one son, Tommie R. Jones; two brothers, T. C. “Mutt” Riddle and Bill
Riddle; and one sister, Sammie Shaw.

Survivors include three sons, Billy David Jones and wife Jackie of Hot
Springs Village, Roy Wayne Jones and wife Dot of Paron and John R.
“Bobby” Jones and wife Charlotte of Conway; three sisters, Dorothy Preddy,
Mae Evelyn Blalock and Nona Moles, all of Mount Pleasant, Texas; six
grandchildren, Richard, James, Tommy, Robbie, Dallas and Dusty Jones; and
nine great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Chapelwood Cemetery in
Nash, Texas, with the Rev. Roy Ford officiating. Grandsons will serve as
pallbearers. Arrangements are under the direction of Ashby Funeral Home
of Benton.

Memorials may be made to the Saline Memorial Hospice.
