John Dennis Kerr, 85, of Bauxite died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006.

He was born Feb. 22, 1921, in Bauxite to John Wesley and Melinda Kerr.

Mr. Kerr was a retired carpenter for Reynolds Metals Co., a World War
II veteran of the Army Air Forces and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist
Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Edna Brown.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Floris D. Kerr of Bauxite; two
sons, Johnny H. Kerr of Bauxite and Wesley N. Kerr of Sheridan; two
daughters, Marie I. Conrad of Bauxite and Connie Reynolds of Rogers; 11
grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home, with
the Rev. Rick Porter officiating. Burial will be in Mars Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
