Barbara J. McMullen Kissee, 67, of Alexander, died Sept. 9, 2006, at her
residence. She was born May 24, 1939, in Malvern to Albert Edward and Virginia
Elizabeth Gordon McMullen.

Mrs. Kissee attended Christ Church and was a registered nurse having worked for
Saline Memorial Hospital and St. Vincent's Infirmary Medical Center for many
years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Albert
McMullen; and one granddaughter, Barbara Sue Doan.

Survivors include her husband, Archie Kissee; five daughters, Kelley Capleaner
and husband George of Alexander, Kristy Schoff and husband Jeffray of Bryant,
Kathy Vernich of Alexander, Rebecca Holsted and husband Gary of Star City and
Anette Rabun and husband Terry of Conway; one son, Kenny Cates of Benton; four
grandchildren, Thomas Doan, Kris Doan and Kandi Vernich, all of Alexander, and
Charlie Schoff of Bryant; two sisters, Laura Lindsey and husband Dub of Malvern
and Emma Smith of Little Rock; one sister-in-law, Sandra McMullen of Malvern;
and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home, with
pastor George A. Dudley officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park
in Alexander.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
