Mrs. Lear C. Miller Martin, 93, of Traskwood died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006.

She was born Oct. 12, 1912, in DeQueen, a daughter of Johnny and Lena Pearl
Miller.

Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in
Traskwood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clavis Martin; one brother, Woodrow
Miller; one son, Thomas Martin; one grandson; and one sister, Arriebea Harrop.

Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Florence Moseley and husband
Charles, Fay Dean Riggan and husband Truman, Patsy Ann Gosvenor and husband
John, and Nella Dean Smith; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six
great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Missionary Baptist Church
of Traskwood, with the Rev. John Harless officiating. Burial will be in Mount
Harmony Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cody Gosvenor, Reese Gosvenor, Terry Moseley, Michael Smith,
Garland Riggan, Carmen Riggan, C. Harlin Riggan, M. Glen Riggan and Fred
Moseley.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ashby Funeral Home.
