Nellie F. Davis Mason, 87, of Benton died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006.

She was born Jan. 8, 1919, in Hensley to Henderson and Dixie Lumpkins.

Mrs. Mason was retired from the Benton Public Schools and a member of Highland
Heights Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, J. C. Davis and Dewell Mason; and her
parents.

Survivors include one son, John Davis and wife Margaret of Benton; one stepson,
Robert Mason and wife Irma; one stepgrandson, Randy Mason and wife Stephanie;
two stepgreat-grandchildren, Rachel Mason and Ryan Mason; several nephews; and
several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ashby Funeral Home. Burial at Orien
Cemetery in Grant County, with the Revs. Brian Moore and Bob Stuckey.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be James Harrvill, Jim Lumpkins, Stacy Lumpkins, Jason
Lumpkins, Daren Pledger and Tom Graves. Honorary pallbearer will be Rick
Lumpkins.
