All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Kathryn Jean McCallie, 76, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at Saline Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 19, 1930, in DeWitt, a daughter of Johnny and Muriel Moory. Mrs. McCallie was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church. In earlier years, she worked as a legal secretary for George Pike. Survivors include her husband, Adrian McCallie; five daughters, Julia Ray and husband Doug of Danville, Calif., Kay Menard and husband John of Bryant, Jeanie Eason and husband Rodney of Bentonville, Terrie Mannis and husband Bruce of DeWitt, and Sally Keffer and husband Kye of Almyra; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, Cristy and Dave Manzeck, John Ray, Mark Ray, Lindsey and Jeff Hartsell, Chris and Jennifer Menard, Jason and Kim Eason, Clayton Eason, Nikki Mannis, Craig Mannis, Tyler McCallie and Brent Rhodes; four great-grandchildren, Kaleb Manzeck, Caleb Menard, Connor Menard and Haden Eason; a brother, Johnny Moory of Jacksonville; and a sister, Helen Spurgeon of Little Rock. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Essex Funeral Home in DeWitt, with the Revs. Bob James and R.D. Edwards officiating. Burial will fbe in DeWitt Cemetery.
